We are Dixons Sixth Form College (D6A) and we’re delighted to offer high quality sixth form education to students from across the Bradford and wide region. We opened in 2019 and are proud that since then students have been able to access the highest quality Sixth form education within our city. Student work hard at Dixons Sixth Form College and they achieve great grades and alongside their academic development they engage in all sorts of enrichment activities that help them grow and mature as young adults. Like all Dixons academies, Dixons Sixth Form College is focused on high expectations, being values driven and providing an education that is second to none. It is a place for students to learn, to develop themselves as people, to work hard and to enjoy their Sixth Form experience – all the time preparing them to be successful at university or a real alternative.

Enrichment provides an opportunity for students to extend their learning beyond the classroom by trying new activities or striving to achieve in an area of specialist interest.

As a dedicated sixth form institution, our teachers focus exclusively on teaching and learning in their A level subject expertise.

All students receive individual tailored support with their applications to university or a real alternative.

In addition to A level qualifications, all students undertake an EPQ qualification.

Students attend two short lectures each week.
